5 Conservation and Trail Wins You Made Possible

natl-trails-day_47

Looking back on 2016 – Catawba Lands Conservancy’s 25th anniversary year – I’m incredibly proud of what we accomplished with your support! We opened 8 segments of the Carolina Thread Trail, protected 3 new properties in critical conservation areas and hired our first program coordinator, just to name a few of this year’s highlights.

Such accomplishments are enhancing our region by protecting water, wildlife habitat and local farms and connecting more people to the great outdoors!

Have a moment to celebrate with us? Check out our 2016 recap featuring 5 wins you helped make possible!

For the love of land,

Thomas Okel
Executive Director, Catawba Lands Conservancy and Carolina Thread Trail

Win 1: Connecting 2,066 People to Nature
Win 2: Protecting Land in Critical Conservation Areas
