Event Details

Join us for an approximately 20-mile, group road bicycle ride throughout the City of Charlotte. This mostly on-road ride will highlight some of the City’s designated bicycle routes, portions of the Carolina Thread Trail including: Little Sugar Creek Greenway and Stewart Irwin Creek Greenway, and bike lanes. Learn how these facilities can provide efficient access for those wishing to travel by bike within the City.  We will ride on the road with traffic and on the greenway with pedestrians.  We will stop at Rhino Market and Deli for a snack break before finishing our ride. Hear from our Community Coordinator, Bret Baronak, as he discusses the on-going development of the Thread Trail and resources available to bikers.  Join us and learn how the Carolina Thread Trail plays a role in the overall connectivity of the City’s bicycle transportation system.
