Event Details

Get some exercise on this group hike along the Carolina Thread Trail. The Seven Oaks Preserve Trail is a natural surface trail that meanders the shoreline of Lake Wylie. This 5.6-mile trail which runs through a 78-acre preserve adjacent to Daniel Stowe Botanical Garden. Join us for a fun group hike and then track your mileage with MyTrails.

This hike is in partnership with HIKE NC!, a program designed to introduce everyone, from beginners to experienced hikers, to outdoor exercise opportunities in their community. Each participant will be entered to win weekly prizes.

What is Provided

  • Guide and staff to answer questions about the trail, local flora and fauna and share stories of community history
  • All required gear and safety equipment to participate
