Feb. 14 – Nature Hike at Forney Creek Trail
*Pre-registration is required for this free program
The wetlands of Forney Creek are quiet in the still of winter, and the fallen leaves offer spectacular views of the open forest and the gleaming ponds. This section of the Carolina Thread Trail overlaps with property conserved by the Catawba Lands Conservancy to provide access to unique wetland ecosystems. Join us on a guided nature hike to learn more about the local ecology and the importance of conservation in our area.
