**In compliance with North Carolina Executive Order 147 and current CDC guidelines, Catawba Lands Conservancy and Carolina Thread Trail are taking the following steps and exercising additional precautions to ensure the safety of program participants, volunteers, and staff:

• All programs outdoors
• Limit program capacity to 25 or fewer
• Limit programs to activities that more readily allow for adequate distance (kayaking, biking)
• All staff using masks
• Encouraging all participants to use masks

Borrow a bike from Charlotte B-Cycle or bring your own and join us on an evening bike tour of the Stewart and Irwin Creek greenway and the surrounding Wesley Heights neighborhood. Afterwards, you can enjoy a Carolina Thread Trail Pale Ale (or other beverage of choice) from our friends at Blue Blaze Brewing! This will be a easy, leisurely bike ride on paved roads and greenways, and we will make a couple stops along the way to talk about the history of the area and about the Carolina Thread Trail. The ride will last about an hour and all are welcome to stay after at the brewery.
