As part of the National Trails Day festivities, join Carolina Thread Trail for a guided hike on the Twelve Mile Creek Greenway. This beautiful greenway begins in North Carolina and winds through a park, housing development and along the creek. It then turns into Twelve Mile Creek Trail in South Carolina, but not before crossing a magnificent 170-foot suspension bridge across the creek! The hike will start and end in H.C. Nesbit Park, and will be around 3-4 miles of moderate natural surface trail. This is a no-frills, casual hike on an little-known greenway, but after this program you’ll definitely want to come back!
