**In compliance with local North and South Carolina policies and current CDC guidelines regarding Covid-19, Catawba Lands Conservancy and Carolina Thread Trail are taking the following steps and exercising additional precautions to ensure the safety of program participants, volunteers, and staff:

  • All programs outdoors
  • Limit program capacity to 25 or fewer. This program’s limit is 10.
  • All staff using masks
  • Encouraging all participants to use masks and follow social distancing guidelines at all times.

We’ll enjoy the Sunday afternoon with a comfortable walking pace while being sure to pause to discuss any unique wildlife or ecological features we come across. The Hector Henry Greenway wraps around WR Odell Elementary and Harris Road Middle School, and continues along the Rocky River and past two spectacular wetlands behind the Moss Creek development, located between Davidson and Concord, NC. The trail is paved and well-forested- ideal for an afternoon stroll!

  • Time: Sunday December 6th, 3:00-5:00 PM

We Provide:

  • Carolina Thread Trail trip leader
  • First aid equipment
  • Light snacks
  • Extra face masks
  • Hand Sanitizer

You Should Bring:

  • Full water bottle
  • Comfortable walking or hiking shoes
  • Sunscreen, bug spray as needed
  • Any needed dog supplies: 6 ft leash, water, and poop bags!
  • Personal Face masks and hand sanitizer
