You can enjoy your favorite game while helping to strengthen our community! If you’re planning on attending the 2013 Chiquita Classic Golf Tournament, you can designate your ticket purchase as a donation to Catawba Lands Conservancy/Carolina Thread Trail! The golf tournament – which is one of the premier annual stops on the Nationwide Tour, the “Official Proving Ground for the PGA TOUR” – will be held at the River Run Country Club in Davidson, just north of Charlotte near the West Branch Nature Preserve from September 5-8, 2013.
Purchase your ticket to the tournament by way of the event website, and please designate Catawba Lands Conservancy/Carolina Thread Trail as your charity of choice. When you select CLC/CTT, The Chiquita Classic will give 100 percent – yes 100% – of each ticket sale back to us! This fundraiser is an incredible opportunity to raise funds and garner support for both organizations!
Tickets to the tournament are affordable: one-day access tickets are $15.00 and all-week access tickets (Thursday through Sunday) are just $45.00. By enjoying the day on the course, you will be supporting not only more trails on the ground, but also conservation of our natural open spaces! Please share this tournament and ticket information with family, friends and your other social networks!
Check out the 2013 Chiquita Classic website, www.chiquitaclassic.com, for more information about the tournament. River Run Country Club is located at 19125 River Falls Drive, Davidson, NC 28036.
To ensure your ticket purchase benefits The Thread and CLC:
REMEMBER: 100 percent of your donation will benefit Catawba Lands Conservancy and The Thread! Catawba Lands Conservancy is the lead agency for the Carolina Thread Trail.
