As part of the McAdenville 60th Annual Community Day celebration, community leaders are hosting a dedication event for the newly-constructed segment of the Carolina Thread Trail on the Pharr Yarns Preserve.
When: Saturday, October 9 from 1 to 2 p.m.
Where: RY McAden River Access, McAdenville (off Dickson Road)
The Event: Following opening remarks and a ribbon cutting, visitors may enjoy light refreshments and live music. Don’t miss a special guided hike, led by Conservancy volunteers Charlie Williams and Haywood Rankin.
The Trail: Come experience this volunteer-constructed natural surface trail that winds through the Pharr Yarns Preserve for approximately two miles. Enjoy scenic views of the South Fork Catawba River, permanently protected by the Catawba Lands Conservancy.
