Dec. 14 – Greenway Bicycle Cruise at Mallard Creek Greenway
*Pre-registration is required for this free event.
Few segments of the Carolina Thread Trail match the Mallard Creek and surrounding greenways in terms of both conservation value and in the connectivity of people and places. This greenway route connects multiple neighborhoods to parks, shopping centers, and ultimately UNC Charlotte, as well as safeguards miles of creeks from disruption. This is a gem of the Mecklenburg county greenway system and an important place to know about as a resident of this area. Come out to learn more about what this Thread Trail segment means for the community and the complex ecosystem restoration at work!
