Join us on an evening bike ride through the Queen City in honor of Bike! Charlotte‘s Bike Week. Bring your own bike, or hop on a FREE bikeshare bike provided by Charlotte B-Cycle. We will take a leisurely ride along Little Sugar Creek Greenway to Freedom Park and back along this paved section of the Carolina Thread Trail. We will make a few stops along the way to learn about the history of Little Sugar Creek and the transformation and restoration of this historic waterway. Please note that the bikeshare bicycles are only available in one size, so kids should bring their own bicycle and helmet to ensure a good fit.

WHAT IS PROVIDED?

• A Carolina Thread Trail trip leader
• A free adult-size bikeshare ride (or bring your own bike)
• Adult and youth helmets (or bring your own)
• Safety gear including reflective vests and extra bike lights
