Event Details

Bring the whole family for a fun and kid-friendly evening of outdoor education about moths! Conservancy staff will be joined by local expert Lenny Lampel, who will share information about moths and lead a sunset moth-watching session.

Attendees will meet at the Mint Museum Randolph parking lot and walk together along Briar Creek Greenway to Eastover Ridge Preserve, where we will settle in to observe moths as the sun sets. Eastover Ridge Preserve is one of the Conservancy’s urban conservation projects, located right in the heart of Charlotte.

The event will begin around 8pm and may go as late as 11pm, but attendees can stay as long as they wish.
