Pharr Davis completed the fastest thru-hike of the Appalachian Trail on July 31, 2011, in 46 days, 11 hours and 20 minutes. She is also the author of two guidebooks: “Best Easy Day Hikes: Charlotte” and “Best Hikes Near Charlotte.” She also wrote a memoir, “Becoming Odyssa,” in 2010.
Pharr Davis is this year’s keynote speaker for the Carolina Thread Trail’s 4th Annual Trail Forum. The forum will be held in early December in Mooresville.
