Catawba Lands Conservancy is pleased to announce a $30,000 corporate gift from Piedmont Natural Gas. In addition to answering the challenge from Duke Energy, PNG will lead a new initiative of CLC: the Catawba Corps. (Look for more information on this exciting new group in the near future!)
Duke Energy issued the $50,000 corporate challenge grant to CLC this spring to help facilitate donations from other local businesses and companies in the region by December 2012. Duke Energy will match donations dollar-for-dollar, up to $50,000. To date, CLC has raised $37,000 in matching funds.
CLC appreciates Piedmont Natural Gas’ support and commitment to CLC and conservation efforts within our region. Thank you!
