Local Artist to Host Fundraiser to Benefit the Conservancy

November 21, 2011Starting now through Dec. 25, REI customers will be asked to donate money to the Carolina Thread Trail (CTT or The Thread) as part of the company’s “Change for Change” program. For every purchase this holiday season, customers will be asked to round up their final purchase cost to the nearest dollar. That extra change will be donated to The Thread!
“We appreciate REI and its customers for all of their support of The Carolina Thread Trail,” said Ann Browning, project director for The Thread. “We are pleased to be this year’s recipients of the holiday give back program, as every dollar helps us continue our efforts to build trail and blueways within our region.”
