As the sun goes down, we will observe the night sky through telescopes and binoculars! Catawba Lands Conservancy, Carolina Thread Trail, Charlotte Amateur Astronomers and Great Outdoors University partner to introduce you to your favorite stars. Plus, enjoy fun hands-on celestial activities.

This free event will take place on the Carolina Thread Trail within Buffalo Creek Preserve, land protected by Catawba Lands Conservancy. All ages and skill levels are welcome. Bring your curiosity, water bottle and your own viewing instrument if you have one. Warm clothing and a flashlight with red light are recommended.
