Mint Museum Randolph, Charlotte

Come spread a blanket and enjoy a relaxing evening outside with family and friends in support of our local green spaces! This free community picnic is open to all and takes places just steps away from land protected by Catawba Lands Conservancy and the Briar Creek Greenway.

Enjoy your pre-ordered picnic basket meal, bring your own picnic meal or purchase dinner from one of the onsite food trucks. Enjoy live music and family activities. Wine and beer from will be available for purchase at the Picnic! (No outside alcohol is permitted at the Mint.)

The 4th annual Picnic celebrates the importance of conserving our local green spaces and and the connection between local farms and local food.  Proceeds benefits Catawba Lands Conservancy and the Carolina Thread Trail.

We need your help to host over 1,000 people! We can’t host this event without you! All volunteers will receive a Pop-Up Picnic t-shirt to wear on event and a dinner voucher to redeem at the food truck. Volunteers must be 16 years of age to help. Volunteers are required to attend an orientation.

Check back soon for volunteer registration.

We encourage alternative transportation — walk or ride your bike on the new Briar Creek Greenway! We will have bike racks for guests to use.
