Property Map

Catawba Lands Conservancy is a local land trust that protects land primarily in six counties in the Southern Piedmont of North Carolina. Use this map to learn more about our nearly 17,000 conserved acres that are benefiting our region. This is land that will remain natural for you, your children, and your grandchildren…forever.

Conservation Easements
Properties that are labeled as conservation easements are lands that are owned by private landowners or other entities, but CLC holds the real estate interest and restricts development for conservation purposes.

Nature Preserves
Properties that are labeled as nature preserves are owned and managed by CLC. These are usually undeveloped important natural areas that are being permanently protected to safeguard valuable wildlife habitat, water quality, farmland or regionally significant geological areas.
