Get your paddle muscles ready! Join us for a morning kayak trip along a section of Carolina Thread Trail blueway. Along the river we will catch a glimpse of two historic mills and hopefully spot a few blue herons, osprey, and other native wildlife. Members may choose to participate in this member paddle OR the October 13 member paddle, but not both!

This will be a moderate to intermediate paddle along a 5.5 mile stretch of the river from Spencer Mountain to McAden River Access. You must be able to swim to participate in this event. All gear will be provided.

This paddle trip is only available to members of Catawba Lands Conservancy (CLC) and/or Carolina Thread Trail (CTT). A special thanks to our friends at Mecklenburg County Park and Recreation for providing the gear and river guide!
