Looking for a new place to run? How about the Thread Trail! Join us on this beginner 2.5- to 3-mile trailIMG_20180110_164719552_HDR run led by Caitlin, Catawba Lands Conservancy’s Davidson Impact Fellow. This will be a good introduction to trail running so if you’ve always wanted to try it, this is your opportunity.

Twelve Mile Creek Trail is a segment of the Carolina Thread Trail that serves as a community connection between neighborhoods in North and South Carolina. This trail also includes one of the longest suspension bridges in the Thread Trail system.

This hike is offered for FREE by Catawba Lands Conservancy (CLC) and Carolina Thread Trail (CTT).

What is provided?

  • A Carolina Thread Trail trip leader
  • Safety gear, first aid

What should you bring?

  • Full water bottle
  • Comfortable running shoes
