Join us for the first ever public program on this recently opened section of the Carolina Thread Trail! The Founders and Masons Bend trails extend the Piedmont Medical Center trail at the Riverwalk community northward up the Catawba River in Fort Mill. We are very excited about the new connections between people, places, and nature that this trail makes possible. On our stroll, we’ll discuss the local ecology of this area, and how the Carolina Thread Trail contributes to the conservation and connection of our community. This hike is family and dog friendly!

Details

• Course: 3 miles out-and-back on mostly flat natural surface trails
• Time: November 24th, 2 – 4 pm
• Parking Address: Founders Trailhead Parking. (We’ll actually be walking north along Masons Bend trail from here.) An email in the week of the event will provide more detailed parking information.
