Yesterday’s storms had significant consequences for Charlotte’s most popular greenway. On this walk, we’ll observe how the greenway corridor is both resilient and vulnerable to floods. Along the way, we’ll also pick up trash and clear debris as best we can.
To find us, park in the free parking garage at the Metropolitan and meet us next to the B-Cycle station next to the garage-entrance to the Trader Joe’s. We’ll have our sign-in table there and a Carolina Thread Trail sign, so you can’t miss us. From there we’ll hop on the Little Sugar Creek Greenway and walk south toward Freedom Park. Give me a call at (919) 698-8878 if you need help finding the group.
