Annual Giving
When you give to Catawba Lands Conservancy, you protect the lands that enrich all of our lives by ensuring clean air and water, sustaining locally grown food and providing access to the outdoor recreation for generations to come.
Supporters who make annual contributions of $500 and more are welcomed into the donor giving circles outlined below and enjoy special opportunities, such as invitations to exclusive outdoor programs and Conservation Chats, throughout the year.
Trailblazer Society $10,000+
Our most generous special giving level. With annual gifts of $10,000 or more, enjoy special access to Conservation Chats, personal updates and exclusive donor programs to bring you closer to the conservation impact you’re making locally.
Catawba Society $2,500-$9,999
Launched in 2007 by Peggy and Bob Culbertson and Millie and Tom Cox, the Catawba Society is a giving circle of generous donors who make an extraordinary commitment to our mission. With annual gifts of $2,500 or more, join this circle of leaders helping to protect our most critical local lands and waters. Enjoy special access to Conservation Chats and exclusive donor programs.
Sunflower Circle $1,000-$2,499
Be part of a special circle of supporters named for the rare and federally endangered Schweinitz’s Sunflower discovered on land that is now permanently conserved. With annual gifts of $1,000 or more, you’ll be preserving nature’s awe-inspiring wonder today for generations to come. Enjoy special access to Conservation Chats and exclusive donor programs.
Spider Lily Circle $500-$999
Join this special group of donors named in honor of the world’s largest known stand of Rocky Shoals Spider Lilies, which bloom in the Catawba River along a signature segment of the Carolina Thread Trail in Catawba, SC. Enjoy special access to Conservation Chats and exclusive donor programs.
Special Gift Recognition
Magnolia Society – Pledges of $12,500+
Make a 5-year pledge of support of $12,500 or more and join this critically important circle of donors named for the rare Bigleaf Magnolia, a majestic tree protected on Conservancy land. The Bigleaf Magnolia boasts the largest simple leaf and bloom of any tree in North America. Your pledge is a tremendous commitment to the long-term sustainability of our region.
Nature Sustainer – Reoccurring monthly support
Help sustain nature with monthly support – a minimum gift of $10 a month — provides ongoing and reliable support to accelerate the pace of local conservation.
