**Catawba Lands Conservancy and Carolina Thread Trail are acting in compliance with local and national guidance on COVID-19, and encourage all program participants to take actions to ensure the safety and comfort of those around them, including maintaining distance and/or wearing a mask if unvaccinated.
As part of the National Trails Day festivities, join Carolina Thread Trail for a morning guided kayak tour on the Catawba River. This section of blueway, which includes Lake Wylie, is part of the Carolina Thread Trail’s blueway network which currently includes over 170 miles of waterways in North and South Carolina. A staff guide will take you up the river to explore the natural surroundings and learn about the local ecosystem, while very likely seeing a ton of wildlife. This kayak paddle will be of moderate effort and we will begin and end at Riverside Marina Paddle and Row who also provides the rented kayaks. See you on the water!
**You must be able to swim to partake in this event.**
