Join Catawba Lands Conservancy for special spooky greenway walk in honor of the fall season! Start the evening with a guided hike along Briar Creek Greenway, through Eastover Ridge Preserve. This permanently conserved property is one of the Conservancy’s urban conservation projects, located right in the heart of Charlotte. After the hike, attendees will hear from community naturalist Ken Kneidel about native moths and settle in to watch for them as dusk falls.

This program is kid-friendly and Halloween costumes are allowed!

  • Experienced Catawba Lands Conservancy staff
  • First aid kit
  • Sunscreen and bug spray
  • Equipment for observing moths after dark

  • Water & snacks
  • Personal medication (EpiPen etc.)
