Apr. 12 – Sunday Stroll at West Branch Nature Preserve
*Pre-registration is required for this free program
Enjoy a relaxed afternoon stroll and all that this section of the Carolina Thread Trail has to offer, from mature woodlands to spongy wetlands. We’ll take occasional breaks to highlight plants and wildlife, and discuss some the local ecology. This trail is tucked away but easily accessible from Davidson, Huntersville, and Kannapolis, and highlights the value of land conservation and trail construction as it connects neighborhoods to nature.
This hike is offered for FREE by Catawba Lands Conservancy (CLC) and Carolina Thread Trail (CTT). If you’d like to support the work that we do to conserve land and build trails, consider making a donation on our website.
