Each year, our goal at Catawba Lands Conservancy (CLC) is to advance our mission to save land and connect lives to nature. By doing so, we made progress towards our vision for regional conservation while helping our communities become better places to live, work and play. I am extremely proud to present our annual report which highlights the progress we made in 2011 towards protecting land for the benefit of future generations. You, volunteers and members alike, played a critical role in making our 20th anniversary a record-breaking year for land conservation. Together we surpassed the total number of acres conserved in 2010, which, at the time, was a record.
