Get a relaxed morning workout in and enjoy all that this section of the Carolina Thread Trail has to offer, from mature woodlands to spongy wetlands. We’ll take occasional breaks to highlight plants and wildlife, and to discuss some of the local ecology of the area. This trail is tucked away but easily accessible from Davidson, Huntersville, and Kannapolis, and highlights the value of land conservation and trail construction in connecting neighborhoods to nature.

These free programs are provided by the Catawba Lands Conservancy and the Carolina Thread Trail. To show your support and continue this programming for years to come, become a CLC donor or CTT donor today. The West Branch Nature Preserve is conserved and made open to the public through partnership with the Davidson Lands Conservancy.
