Join us for a nature hike about more than just plants and wildlife- we’ll also discuss the intersecting natural and human history that have made this landscape, including the U.S. National Whitewater Center and the flow of the Catawba River, the important target of conservation efforts that it is today. • Course: about 2 miles round trip from the Figure 8 trail to the Carolina Thread Trail
• Time: October 12, 10 – 11 am
