Join us for a roughly 20-mile, group road bicycle ride around the City of Charlotte in honor of Bike! Charlotte‘s Bike Week. This on-road and paved greenway ride will highlight the new Uptown Cycle Track which will connect the Little Sugar Creek and Irwin Creek Greenways, as well as some of the City’s other designated bicycle routes including sections of the Carolina Thread Trail. Bret, Carolina Thread Trail’s Director, will start out with a quick overview of bike traffic laws and safety rules, and then we will hit the road! Part way through our ride, we will stop at a local establishment for a quick snack break.

To participate in this ride you MUST have experience riding in groups in an urban road setting. This ride is NOT intended for beginner riders or those uncomfortable interacting with traffic.
