Join Carolina Thread Trail Director, Bret Baronak for an easy walk exploring the Torrence Creek Greenway in north Mecklenburg County.  Highlights include the tunnel underneath I-77, which includes a unique public art display.  Additionally, the walk will highlight how greenways can serve to protect open space in a busy suburban environment and in doing so helps to protect waterways.   Learn more about Mecklenburg County and Huntersville creation an expanded network that will facilitate connectivity between a variety of destinations, underscored by more miles of trail to enjoy on the Carolina Thread Trail network.

This walk is appropriate for all ages, but be prepared to walk for up to two hours. Well behaved dogs are permitted but must be leashed.
