“Securing North Carolina’s Future: A Five-Year Plan for Investing in Our Land, Water and Quality of Life”

Land for Tomorrow released a comprehensive report on May 14, 2012, that tracks the success of land conservation in North Carolina over the past seven years. According to Land for Tomorrow, the report also sets ambitious and achievable goals for land conservation over the next five years that are consistent with today’s economic realities.

The report, called “Securing North Carolina’s Future: A Five-Year Plan for Investing in Our Land, Water and Quality of Life,” offers supporters and elected officials a guidepost for achievable gains in land conservation.

Land for Tomorrow is a partnership of concerned citizens, businesses, interest groups and local governments urging the General Assembly to fully fund North Carolina’s four conservation trust funds.  For more information about Land for Tomorrow, click here.
