Spencer Mountain River Access Pass Request Form

Catawba Lands Conservancy owns and manages the Spencer Mountain River Access on the South Fork Catawba River. This canoe/kayak launch is located on property that we permanently conserve, and access is by pass only. It is one of more than 30 properties we protect along the river, totaling over 1,500 acres.

The South Fork Catawba River is also a designated blueway (paddling trail) within the Carolina Thread Trail network. Paddlers who explore this 5.5-mile stretch of river between Spencer Mountain and McAdenville will enjoy beautiful views of land that has been permanently conserved.
