Thanks to everyone – runners, walkers and donors – who participated in and attended “Run For The Money” on Saturday, April 21. We had a wonderful turnout and Catawba Lands Conservancy appreciates everyone’s support and interest in helping to raise funds for land conservation.
CLC also thanks the Community Foundation of Gaston County for their support, matching donations, and sponsorship of this wonderful event each year! If you are interested in donating, you can still do so by April 27 (see below).
Congratulations to all of our fantastic runners – including staff members – who “Ran For The Money!” Paul Mainwaring placed second overall, out of more than 1,300 runners/walkers, and earned $500 for CLC. Chris Page placed first in his age group and Melinda Yelton placed second. Together, these runners raised $1,250 for CLC! We will let you know our grand total (donations and matching funds) in a few weeks!
CLC thanks these runners for their support and congratulates them on their great effort. Here’s a list of our other supporters and staff members who also participated in the race on Saturday! Again, thank you for your support and donations!
