**In compliance with local municipal and current CDC guidelines, Catawba Lands Conservancy and Carolina Thread Trail are taking the following steps and exercising additional precautions to ensure the safety of program participants, volunteers, and staff:

  • All programs outdoors
  • Limit program capacity to 25 or fewer
  • All staff using masks
  • Encouraging all participants to use masks and socially distance

Bring your own bike, or hop on a FREE bikeshare e-bike provided by Charlotte Joy Rides. We will take a leisurely ride along Little Sugar Creek Greenway from Alexander Park northbound through Cordelia and some residential roads. We will make a few stops along the way to learn about the public benefits of greenways, the importance of Little Sugar Creek, and the history and development of the NoDa area. Please note that the bike-share bicycles are only available in one size, so kids should bring their own bicycle and helmet to ensure a good fit.
