**In compliance with North Carolina regulations and current CDC guidelines, Catawba Lands Conservancy and Carolina Thread Trail are taking the following steps and exercising additional precautions to ensure the safety of program participants, volunteers, and staff:

• All programs outdoors
• Limit program participant capacity. This program will be limited to 10 participants.
• Limit programs to activities that more readily allow for adequate distance (kayaking, biking)
• All staff using masks
• Encouraging all participants to use masks and follow social distancing guidelines

Calling Donors! You and your household are invited to borrow a kayak and join Carolina Thread Trail on the South Fork River in Cramerton, NC. You can expect to arrive at Riverside Park at 3:00 pm, hop in a kayak, courtesy of Riverside Marina, and follow Carolina Thread Trail and Catawba Lands Conservancy’s program coordinator on a tour of the river. On the South Fork, you will have an opportunity to about the history of the Catawba River in the region, witness the key role the river plays in our local ecosystem, and have fun paddling around the town of Cramerton. After the paddle, disembark from the boat and enjoy some light appetizers provided by Catawba Lands and the Thread Trail.

This free program is a benefit to all donors who are current members of the Spider Lily Circle, Sunflower Circle, Catawba Society, and Trailblazer Society of the Catawba Lands Conservancy or the Carolina Thread Trail. Click the following links to see Carolina Thread Trail’s donor levels and Catawba Lands Conservancy’s donor levels. • Full water bottle
• Water shoes or old sneakers
• Hat, sunscreen, sunshirt, bug spray
• Clothes you don’t mind getting wet
• Personal medical supplies (Epipen, inhaler, etc.)
• A personal face mask
