Join us for a hike at Crowders Mountain State Park! This member exclusive, 4.3-mile hike, led by GIS Director and Biologist Sean Bloom, will take us over the summit of Crowders Mountain and then down the 336 steps of the Backside Trail. The hike will begin at the visitors’ center and head north on the Crowders Trail, connect with the Rocktop Trail at the summit, come down the Backside Trail and reconnect with the Crowders Trail to the visitors’ center.

Location: Meet at the Crowders Mountain State Park visitors’ center.

Cost: Free for members of CTT (Trekker, Trailblazer and Greenway Gals) and CLC (Catawba Corps and Society).

Requirements and Recommendations

• Must be a member of CTT at one of these levels: Trekker Trailhead, Trailblazer Trailhead, Greenway Gals and/or CLC: Catawba Corps, Catawba Corps Friend, Catawba Corps Sustainer, and/or Catawba Corps Society.
