Event Details
Join Thread Trail Director Bret Baronak for a 10-mile bicycle ride on one of the regions most scenic trails – Kings Mountain Gateway. Cap off this experience with a beautiful view of the setting sun from atop “Cardio Hill” – sunset is scheduled for approximately 7:30 P.M.
This will be an out and back ride on a compacted gravel surface. Bring your own bike and helmet. Bicycles designed for unpaved surfaces are required to ride on this trail. Mountain bikes and gravel bikes will work best.
Participants can expect a few challenging climbs along the way and should have moderate to intermediate fitness levels to accomplish the ride in the allotted time.
- Distance – 10 miles (1 to 1.5 hour riding time)
- Must supply you own bicycle and helmet (extra helmets will be provided).
- Light refreshments to be provided. Please bring plenty of water/fluids.
