THANK YOU to everyone who participated, supported, volunteered and sponsored the Carolina Thread Trail’s 1st annual “Tread The Thread 5K” Trail Race and 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk on Saturday, May 12, at the Anne Springs Close Greenway in Fort Mill, SC!
The event was a huge success! Race registration was at full capacity and volunteers helped to make the race and activities successful.
The race title sponsors were Johnston Allison & Hord and Wells Fargo Insurance Services. There were also a number of platinum sponsors, including The TIN Kitchen which provided free food for participants and REI, which provided prizes for the 5K winners. All race participants received a free t-shirt, race bib, and beer courtesy of Olde Mecklenburg Brewery and Foothills Brewing.
All families, friends and supporters of The Thread came out to enjoy post- race festivities, including music and information. Thanks to everyone who supported the Carolina Thread Trail on Saturday!
